Euston shut
No trains running North
Walk to St Pancras ,
Packed train to Nottingham,
Packed train then to Derby
Stood in train to Crewe ( helped stop fight between two men)
Stood in Train to Chester
Stood in train to Prestatyn
7 hours to get home

  18. That's horrible & the bloody bomb as well - terrifying.
    I once told a train guard that a young man was harassing a young girl on a train. The train broke down so several of us stood with the girl while the guard spoke to the man. To her credit she had already told him to F**! O!! but I felt there was safety in numbers. No mobile phones those days to let my mum who I was visiting know I'd be very late.

  25. After 53 years in London, what I like about Belfast is the lack of overcrowding. I can always get a seat on a bus or train. And not the third or fourth bus but the first one.
